We are so excited to have you back at BAS! Thank you to all our parents for getting your kiddos up and going back to school. Special shout out to Gillette parents making it happen even through being extra exhausted!! Students, parents, and teachers are all getting back into the routine of things so please remember to be patient with one another and communicate any concerns or questions. You can always message any staff member through JupiterEd for questions or schedule an appointment outside of class time to meet. Let's have a great year!

Reminders:

• Don't forget hot lunch will not begin until September 3rd. Please pack lunches for your students.
• No School Sept 2nd - Labor Day
• Dropoff/Pickup - please respect our line up procedures and pull your car into the pickup line. I promise it looks longer than it will actually take. Only under emergency exceptions should you park and walk up to the gym to pickup your student out of order.
• Health Screenings are scheduled for September 10. If you had your regular annual checkup with your child's doctor, they can send in the documentation for vision/hearing testing and you can save the $15.00 fee that it costs for the health screening. We must have the documentation before September 9 to be exempt from our on campus screening. More info to come.

ALL Athletes must have a physical before the season begins (Volleyball, soccer, and basketball). Please make an appointment with your family doctor, walk-in at urgent care, or some chiropractor offices will fill it out. Click Here for the form. Fees to play in our club sports are $125 per sport, payable to the office. Please wait to pay this fee until your child is officially posted on the roster.

If you have a female student in 6-8th grade that would like to join our club volleyball team, please attend practice this Thursday from 3:45-5:30 pm. We are still looking for an assistant coach if anyone is interested in joining Coach Kevin this season!

Soccer practices will be held at the Burleson SDA Spanish church from 9:00-10:30. At 335 SW Thomas St, Burleson TX 76028. Please inform Coach Hopkins or Mrs Suess if you are interested in playing and haven't talked to one of our coaches yet. We will get them your information.
