Would you or someone you know like to host a foreign exchange student? Learn about another culture and share the best of ours while enjoying an “adopted” teenager in your family. This is an opportunity to connect with an adventurous young student and form life-long connections with someone from another country.

The Rotary Club of Hartford is sponsoring a 17-year-old girl, Ariel, from Taiwan who will be arriving in late August 2024. She will be here in the USA for one year, however Rotary has each student stay with two families during their time here so the commitment is only six months.

Rotary is currently searching for a family to host Ariel from late January 2025 through the middle of July 2025.

A host family provides a welcoming home and typical family experiences while the exchange student

attends high school here in Hartford.
