Dear MCHS Parents and Guardians,

Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools values your opinion. As part of our Assurance process, we ask that you share your perspective through our Division Assurance Survey at the link or QR code below. Results from this survey will be used to inform planning and make decisions at both the school and divisional level for the 2025/2026 school year.

• All parents and staff, as well as students in grades 4-12, will be given the opportunity to complete the survey. Surveys are completely anonymous.

• Families with children at more than one GSACRD school are asked to complete a survey for each site.

• The survey will remain open from Thursday, November 28, 2024 to Friday, December 20, 2024.

Please note: If you have a child in grade 4, 7, or 10, you may receive a similar survey from Alberta Education toward the end of January. If so, we would encourage you to complete both surveys. Our divisional survey is being administered earlier in the school year to avoid overlap and encourage participation.

2024-2025 MCHS Parent & Guardian Assurance Survey

The Salvation Army St. Albert is looking for enthusiastic kids and youth volunteers to help fill kettle shifts this Christmas season! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to make a difference in their community, gain valuable experience, and even add glowing references to their resumes.

Why Get Involved?

• Make a Difference: Support families and individuals in need during the holiday season.
• Gain Volunteer Hours: Perfect for school service requirements or personal growth.

As the basketball season approaches, we are filled with pride and anticipation for the journey ahead for our talented student-athletes. The courts are ready, the teams are set, and the determination to make this a season to remember is stronger than ever.

To our players: we believe in your skills, your teamwork, and your passion for the game. Each practice, each game, and every challenge will bring you closer to your goals. Remember, success isn’t just about the score—it’s about the heart, the resilience, and the sportsmanship you bring to the court.

The MCHS Sr Boys basketball team participated in their first tournament of the season in Camrose.

Game 1 The Wolves lost a hard fought game vs St Martin des Poires 58-55.

Game 2 - The Wolves mauled Settler 85- 48.

Game 3 - The Wolves were out scored by Holy Rosary 63-50.

Overall it was a good weekend for the team to gain some valuable experience to learn how to play together.
