St. Luke Weekly Memo
May 17, 2021
Leadership Message
Dear St. Luke Families,
I hope you are keeping well. Online learning will continue again this week.Thank-you to all of you who are working so hard at keeping students actively participating. We had another great week of student attendance. Please reach out to your child’s teacher or myself if you are having any difficulty. We are more than willing to assist you.
This week was a fantastic week as we had the privilege of celebrating Catholic Education. The theme for this year's Catholic Education Week was "those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." (Isaiah 40:31) and we have much to be hopeful for! This week staff and students prayed for these special intentions.
We pray for all educators, administrators and staff who dedicate themselves daily to authentic Catholic education
We pray for all students, for their safety and their learning, that they may know the love of God
We pray for all families, that they may grow in faith and unite in their prayers
It goes without saying that students would all like to be back at school. I know many of them are missing their friends, classmates, teachers, and school staff during this time of online learning. Catholic Education Week was a great opportunity to remind ourselves why we love our Catholic schools, and why we will be so grateful when we return. Thank-you to all that sent in images and messages of what it means to be in a Catholc school. So beautiful to see.
Have a fantastic week,
Cathy Hinger
Principal
