Future Educator Apprentice
Get started in the Education Pathway as a Future Educator Apprentice where you'll work alongside a classroom teacher to provide instruction and develop positive relationships with students, run small group activities, do lesson planning and grading, and learn about various career paths in education at the early childhood, elementary, and middle school levels.
Apprenticeship Details:
- Employer: Thompson School District
- Number of Positions: 5 - Open to TSD students only!
- Location: TSD Schools
- Starting wage: $15.00/hour
Production Technician Apprentice
Get started in the Manufacturing Pathway as a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice where you'll work in a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company to set up, test, adjust and run manufacturing machinery and equipment. You will inspect and test both equipment and finished products for flaws to ensure a quality product.
Apprenticeship Details:
- Employer: Tolmar Pharmaceuticals
- Number of Positions: 6 positions
- Location: Centre Ave location, Fort Collins
- Starting wage: $16.25/hour
Financial Services Apprentice
Get started in the Financial Services Pathway as a Bank Teller/Financial Services Representative where you'll assist customers with banking transactions, perform customer service activities and sell and open new accounts, close accounts, and advise customers on all bank services.
Apprenticeship Details:
- Employer: Bank of Colorado

- Starting wage: $13.00-$15.00/hour

inCompass Fast Track - Summer Internship & Employment Program for High School Seniors
15 positions available. Apply today! Space is limited.
- Eligibility: High school seniors on track to graduate, age 16-21 years old, U.S. Citizen and Larimer County resident who meet both low income and challenge to employment requirements outlined in the application
- Pay rate: $15/hour
- Hours/schedule: Interns complete approximately 250 hours during June-August.
- Location: Internships available in various locations in Larimer County

Stage Production/ Auditorium Summer Internship with TSD Facility Services
Get behind the scenes with a PAID summer internship with TSD Facility Services. The intern will get to help produce sound and lights for summer productions at the TVHS auditorium and perform summer maintenance in various TSD school auditoriums with a focus on lighting, sound, and basic auditorium upkeep.
- Who can apply: Open to current sophomores, juniors, and graduating seniors. Must be age 16 by start of internship, June 2022.
- Pay rate: $14/hour
- Hours/schedule: Approximately 65 hours during summer 2022. Flexible scheduling: average 10-15 hrs/week; some nights and weekends.
- Location: TVHS auditorium and other school sites.
- Credit: Students can earn elective credit, assigned retroactively.

Grounds Maintenance Summer Internship with TSD Facilities
Keep our athletic facilities in top shape with a PAID summer internship with TSD Facility Services. The intern will get to perform mowing operations, trimming, turf maintenance, irrigation maintenance and repair, and assist with building and installing fences and signage. This internship is a great option for student athletes with flexible scheduling to allow for practice schedules.
- Who can apply: Open to current sophomores and juniors. Must be age 16 by start of internship, end of May 2022. 10+ positions available.
- Pay rate: $13.76/hour
- Hours/schedule: Average of 20+ hours/week. Internship runs from May 31st to August 5th, approximately. Flexible scheduling: average 10-15 hrs/week.
- Location: School sites throughout TSD.
- Credit: Students can earn elective credit, assigned retroactively.

IT Support Technician Internship with TSD Innovative Technology Services
- School year internships - Register for Course 5092 - IT Support Tech Internship. You'll gain experience supporting staff and students in your home high school through hardware and software tech support. Available at all high schools and open to grades 9-12.
- Summer internships - A limited number of paid summer internships are available to process and ready all of the student devices for the new school year.
- CareerWise Apprenticeship: Look for the IT Support Technician Apprenticeship this fall for a January 2023 start date. Starting wage $15.00/hour, multiple certifications earned.

TSD Aquatic Facilities are currently hiring summer swimming lesson instructors. Competitive and/or extensive swimming experience is NOT required. Larimer County Conservation Corps
The primary opportunity for high school students is Land Crew Corpsmember. The Land Crew is a full-time, temporary summer position for young adults, ages of 16-18. Throughout the season corps members:
- Serve on local, state and federal lands throughout Northern Colorado
- Perform projects such as trail construction and maintenance, ecological restoration and invasive species management
- Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement
- Term of Service: June 6, 2022 - August 11, 2022 (tentative)
- Stipend Allotment: $5,120 total stipend paid in biweekly increments of $1,024
- AmeriCorps Benefit: $1,342.86 AmeriCorps Education Award upon completion for qualified individuals. This position may qualify for academic credit.
