I hope this message finds you and your family in excellent health and high spirits in anticipation for summer break. As the school year comes to a close, I want to thank all of the students, staff, and parents for your hard work and dedication. Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first grade parents, teachers, and students you have done a phenomenal job assisting students this school year. These students have demonstrated major growth. Please keep that momemtum going throughout the summer.

I would also like to acknowledge the 2nd through 5th grade parents, teachers, and students. I want to take this time to recognize your perserverance throughout the ACAP testing sessions. The dedication and hard work that has been poured into your child's education has not gone unnoticed. You ALL ROCK! Please continue to encourage your child throughout the summer break and let their light shine.

• Read with your child for at least 15 to 20 minutes nightly. Ask the following comprehension questions: Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?
• Practice basic facts daily based on your child's grade level: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
