It was great to see so many Dragon families at Back to School night! To open the evening, our Principal (Maureen Jensen) and Assistant Principal (Paula Gately) gave a brief "State of the School" address. The presentation was intended to be an overview and introduction to the extensive amount of data within the slides. Click HERE to access the slideshow.

Join the PTO in the Stony Point Elementary library for their next meeting on Wednesday October 4th from 6:30-8:00 PM. The agenda is as follows:

1. School Board Candidate forum (hear from candidates of the upcoming school board election)

NOTE: The PTO does not endorse any candidates. This will be an opportunity for the community to hear from both candidates equally.

2. Committee Updates: (School enrichment, family and community engagement, fundraising)

We are in need of additional reusable water bottles for students who may not be able to bring their own water bottle from home. If you are interested in picking up some extras to donate to our school, please drop them off at the front office. Thank you for considering!

The weather is finally beginning to cool down for fall! Be sure to send your child with a light jacket, as outdoor recess will continue.
