SDI Secondary Transition Course Yr1

This training is provided for schools designated Level 1 through IDEA-DA (Differentiated Accountability) in Secondary Transition or any other LEA/AEA staff wanting to learn more about the SDI Framework for Secondary Transition.

This course will also include a walkthrough of the FIT/CSA components as indicated in IDEA-DA.

Participant Outcomes Include:

• Describe the importance of quality secondary transition practices in improving postsecondary outcomes

• Share information about how the SDI Framework and Secondary Transition work are intertwined

• Apply the SDI Framework to Secondary Transition work

• Complete the FIT to assess their application of the SDI Framework

Participants will learn quality practices related to Secondary Transition that will help to improve student outcomes in the post-secondary setting.
