Message from Mrs. Ybarra and Mrs. Howard
As We Near the End of an Amazing School Year…
As we approach the final weeks of a wonderful school year, it’s important to stay focused and finish strong. Let’s all work together to reinforce the habits that help our students thrive:
-
Arrive to school on time. A strong start sets the tone for the entire day.
-
Complete all homework and assignments. Consistency now ensures success later.
-
Stay engaged in class. Every moment counts—encourage participation and attention.
-
Be kind. Our words and actions matter. Let’s continue to build each other up.
-
Attend weekend Mass. It’s a meaningful way to stay rooted in faith and community.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support!

Let's Support 7th Grader, Max Gramelspacher!
My name is Max Gramelspacher, and I’ve been blessed to attend Camp Ondessonk, a Catholic summer camp in Ozark, IL, for the past two years. This year, I’ve been invited to join a special service organization within camp called Lodge. Lodge is made up of campers and former campers who strive to give back to their communities through acts of kindness, service, and camp spirit.
As part of my journey into Lodge, I am completing 15 service hours across three categories: Community, Family, and Environment. For my Community project, I am organizing a donation drive to support HUB Foods, the food pantry operated by Catholic Urban Programs (CUP).
HUB Foods is unique in that it allows individuals and families to select their own groceries—just like shopping in a store—rather than receiving a pre-packed box of items. This model gives people dignity and choice while addressing food insecurity in our area. Catholic Urban Programs’ mission is to “break the cycles of poverty and rekindle hope in those we serve.” Through HUB and its many services, CUP helps people get back on their feet and work toward self-sufficiency.
I believe this small project can contribute to their powerful mission—and I invite you to join me in supporting it.
Thank you so much for considering a donation and for supporting my service project.
All items can be donated through May 16, 2025.

🤩 Assistant Principal Adventure 🤩 Auction Win With Mrs. Howard 🤩
Brooksen and Eme planned the day and it was all about golf! Even a little rain couldn’t stop the fun!
We started the morning with Wood Bakery donuts and the golf simulator at St. Clair Country Club playing virtual courses and games. After lunch, we headed over to DP Golf Indoor for even more golf action. One big highlight - meeting Orlando Pace—former offensive tackle for the St. Louis Rams and a Super Bowl champion! A big thanks to Dan Polites at DP Golf Indoors for taking care of us this afternoon! It was a fun day!
