Proud families were excited gather together for G.L.H Johnson's Annual Black History Program. They cheered on students as well as staff for their outstanding performance!

G.L.H Johnson Elementary students and staff put on a stellar performance during their Annual Black History Program! A special Gator Gratitude goes to Mrs. Felicia "Cookie" Edmunds and her team for always choregraphing and directing such a wonderful show! Bravo Gators!!!!

Park Avenue Elementary School students took part in their Lunch and Learn, where community members visited classrooms to share their careers and provide hands-on demonstrations during lunchtimes. This is what community partnerships in education looks like!

Activ8 scholars from Ms. McKain's Career Explorations class and participants in the Ruby Archie Reading Bowl Scholastic Competition had the opportunity to meet virtually with the author of Braver: A Wombat's Tale, Suzanne Selfors.

February 27 - School Board Meeting at 5:30 p.m.

March 3 - GW Girls Varsity Soccer home scrimmage vs. Dan River at 6 p.m.

March 4 - GW Boys Varsity Soccer home scrimmage vs. Dan River 6 p.m.

March 5 - DPS-Hosted Family Workshops on balancing behavior, mental and physical wellness, and skills for academic success at the Boys and Girls Club at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
