Research shows that when your child(ren) are not in school... learning loss takes place. Each new school year, we often have to spend valuable time reviewing certain academic skills. To avoid summer learning loss, the Ross Math and Reading team is planning some fun ways to "check in" with our leaders and offer incentives to read and work on Math. Be on the lookout for more information as we approach the end of the school year.

This week, we begin our 2nd week of state testing. We kindly ask that you ensure your child(ren) arrive on time. As a school... we want to create a testing environment that allows all students to feel successful, not rushed, or worried about missing parts of the test. I have included the MAP schedule for grades 3, 4, and 5 to help with planning late arrivals or early dismissals. Thank you for your ongoing partnership.

It is hard to believe that this year is coming to a close! The Ross team is already planning for the 2025 - 2026 school year! With that being said, if you're planning on moving and not returning to Ross, we kindly ask that you let your classroom teacher or the main office know. This will help us better plan for student placement. While we never enjoy losing Ross families, we certainly understand that moves do happen. For example, I moved from the East Coast to the Midwest in 2015.
