MHS Theatre Success at State!
Mustang Theatre did it again! This past weekend our State One Act play, Blue Stockings, received:
- 1--Superior rating
- Outstanding Company
- Best Costumes
- Best Set (Yay, James Grigsby!)
- Best Direction
Additionally, we had 6 All-Star state cast members!!!
- Leia Eads
- Jonathan Mezagallo
- Quinn Jones
- Henry Abt
- Jimmy Gonzalez
- Hazel Vincent
And our very own Leia Eads got the Top Female Actress of the event, again!
Additionally, all of our students networked with colleges in between shows, helped host the event, and received incredible feedback from all the judges about how professional they were, their acting & tech, fight choreography (shout out to MHS teacher, Joshua Henry!) and their accents for the show...They did a very difficult show (beyond college level material and skills) VERY well.
You really would've been proud of how they acted both on and off the stage. Hope you can come see the shows this week:
- Oct. 3-5 at 7pm (PAC, Door #1)
- Free to staff and faculty
- $7.00 at the door for all others
- Donations encouraged since all proceeds will go to Positive Tomorrows:
"Surely You Jest" is off to a Great Start
