Grizzly Community Update
Friday, May 9, 2025
Introduction
Good afternoon Grizzlies,
This week we began AP Testing and it got off to a really good start overall. Getting testing going can be challenging, especially when most of these tests are digital, but once that first one got going, our students were able to show what they know! During these two weeks of testing we are going with no bells to reduce distractions and I am extremely impressed by how well students have adapted. Students, do you prefer having bells or not having bells (take the survey below)?
We also celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week this week. Thank you to all of our educators for what they do every day of the week! Thank you to our PTSA for the treats Monday, lunch Wednesday, and breakfast on Friday.
Next week we will complete regular AP testing.
Happy Mother's Day to all of our mothers and mother figures in the Grizzly community!
Have a great weekend!
Respectfully,
Mr. Ball
Students, what do you prefer?

Learning about the Vietnam War

Mr. Ball had the chance to speak with some of Mr. Geller's senior classes, who are working group projects within the Project Citizen program. The purpose of the program is to help solve a local community problem. Some of the things we talked about were traffic, overall access for students to campus, and how to best support out sister school Michelle Obama Elementary School.
