The Middle school softball season will begin in March and runs through the end of May. We will begin organizing teams and schedules in January so it is important that we know how many girls want to play. The cost to play middle school softball has been around $175. We are a club and everything we do is self-funded.
In the past we have been able to have two middle school teams that are made up of all three grades. This year, we are looking for volunteer coaches for both teams.
The due date to sign up for middle school softball is Friday December 20th. We will not be taking any late sign-ups after December 20th.

Friendship Wesleyan Church will be giving out Thanksgiving Baskets (meals) again this year for families who could benefit from it. They have done this for a few years and would like to provide the opportunity again to both Plainwell and Otsego Schools.
Friendship Wesleyan Church will be giving out the baskets on November 23rd (Sat.) between 11:30 AM and 3 PM. They include whole-uncooked turkeys, several sides, and a desert.

Who: Middle school students who have received an invitation (via guardian email)
What: Extra support for math ELTs
When: Monday/Tuesday from 2:45-3:45 OR Wednesday/Thursday from 2:45-3:45
Where: OMS Media Center
Why: If a child scores below 60% on an essential learning target (ELT) assessment, they will be invited to attend two days of math lab to receive reteaching and another attempt at the assessment. The invitation will be sent via email to parents/guardians from Ronda Conner (rconner@otsegops.org). Guardians must sign their student up via Google Form (linked in invitation email) in order for a student to attend Math Lab.
***Please stress to your child to come to Math Lab with all of their math resources: workbook, chromebook, notebook, note sheets, calculator, and pencil.
