Garnet Valley Middle School Community,
We are thrilled to share this Smore with you, celebrating both the conclusion of the middle school journey for some students and the exciting beginning for others! Stay tuned for additional Summer Updates newsletters as we move through the summer months.
To our 8th graders, we extend our best wishes as you embark on your next chapters. We hope everyone enjoyed the Promotional Assembly, which served as both a commemorative celebration and an opportunity for students and families to connect with teachers and peers and capture some final photos. On behalf of the entire GVMS community, congratulations to all our eighth-grade students!
Report cards were electronically released earlier today. A physical copy should arrive in the mail sometime next week. Students who made the Honor Roll or Distinguished Honor Roll in any of the four marking periods will receive a certificate of academic excellence. If you have any questions about report cards, please contact the GVMS Main Office at 610.579.5102.
Looking ahead to next school year, we have two important links and a Saves The Date reminder we would like to share:
Save The Date: 6th Grade Transition Camp
August 14th from 9:30-11:30am @ GVMS
All incoming 6th through 8th-grade students should review and complete the necessary assignments. Note that the 6th-grade supply list differs from the 7th/8th-grade list. Unlike elementary schools, we do not offer a pre-packaged school supply option. For any questions regarding school supplies, please contact the GVMS Main Office at 610.579.5102.
