Superintendent's Update
Dear EHT School Community,
As we prepare to embark on the 2024-2025 school year, I am excited to welcome each of you back to what promises to be a year filled with learning, a positive climate filled with kindness, and student achievement. Whether you're returning or new to our district, we are thrilled to have you as part of our Egg Harbor Township family.
This year, we are guided by our core mission: Embrace, Engage, and Educate.
Embrace: We embrace every student, family, and staff member as an integral part of our school community. We celebrate our diversity and commit to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Engage: We engage our students in meaningful, collaborative learning experiences that challenge our students and inspire them to reach their full potential. Engagement is key to unlocking creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for lifelong learning.
Educate: We educate with purpose and dedication, providing a rigorous and well-rounded curriculum that prepares our students for success in an ever-changing world. Our commitment is to nurture not only academic excellence but also the social and emotional well-being of every student.
As we Embrace, Engage, and Educate together, we will create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where each student can thrive. I am confident that with your partnership, we will make this school year one of our best yet.
Please take the time to view this newsletter each week as it will provide you with district information, current events, and newsletters from each of our schools. Our programs, activities, and students are highlighted each week.
Thank you for your continued dedication to our students and our community. Here’s to a successful and inspiring 2024-2025 school year!

District Mission and Goals
Mission Statement- Embrace - Engage - Educate
Our mission in the Egg Harbor Township School District is to embrace families and their
students to provide a safe, rigorous, and relevant learning experience while students are engaged and educated to become responsible for their own learning.
Student Achievement
In order to prepare students for the future that awaits them, teaching practices will incorporate new technologies and innovation to support student learning to prepare students for the future that awaits them. Professional Learning Community work will encompass the Teaching and Assessing Cycle. This data will assist in meeting individual student needs using the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework. We will also focus on the social and emotional needs of every student to foster successful learning experiences.
Culture, Climate and EHT Pride
S.O.A.R. (SAFETY, OWNERSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, RESPECT) will be used as the foundation to ensure a safe learning environment for all. SOAR provides students with self-regulation skills, life skills, and character skills that will assist them with student achievement, work ethic, good character, and a respect for diversity. We will celebrate progress through recognition and reward to reinforce student expectations for a positive school climate, culture, and #EHTPride.
Expand Stakeholder Partnerships
Continue to form positive, supportive, and sustained partnerships with community partners to complement and enhance student learning, activities, and athletics at all grade levels. The effectiveness of these partnerships will depend on the quality of collaboration, the alignment of goals, and the level of commitment from all involved parties. These stakeholders include students, parents, teachers, support staff, school administrators, the Board of Education, community organizations, businesses, and government agencies.
