A Message from Principal P
Dear CMS Families,
This week at CMS has been filled with some exciting activities. Be sure to check out the photos capturing our students' learning experiences in clubs, classrooms, and enrichment during WIN time.
As we wrap up October, we're celebrating the conclusion of Ghost, the Scholastic Book Fair, and School Spirit Week! We’re also looking forward to our monthly celebration, where we’ll recognize our P2 Students of the Month and those who were "caught in the act" of being safe, respectful, responsible, and kind.
Thank you for your continued support in making CMS a wonderful place for our students to grow and succeed!
Better Together,
Ms. P

Updates and Reminders
Camillus Middle School to Present James and the Giant Peach
Mark your calendars for this exciting upcoming musical at Camillus Middle School; James and the Giant Peach on November 7-8 at 7:00 p.m. and November 9 at 2:00 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the show, and tickets are $10 general admission.
Camillus Middle School presents a fantastical journey with Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach, now reimagined as a vibrant musical that promises to enchant audiences of all ages! Featuring a delightfully tuneful score from the EGOT (EMMY, GRAMMY, OSCAR & TONY) award-winning duo Justin Pasek and Benj Paul (known for their work on Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman and A Christmas Story the Musical), alongside a whimsically quirky book by Timothy Allen McDonald (who brought us Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka and The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley), this production has been hailed by critics as a "masterpeach!"

At CMS We Embrace Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, and we’re excited to take this opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness and abilities of individuals with Down syndrome.
At CMS, we value creating an environment where all students feel seen, respected, and supported.
We encourage families to talk with their children about Down syndrome and the power of inclusion, reinforcing the message that every person, no matter their differences, contributes to the richness of our community. You can learn more on the Special Olympics website.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us foster a welcoming and inclusive school culture!
