CLASS HIGHLIGHT - Entrepreneur Promotions Class
Our Promotions business class offers students a unique, hands-on learning experience by partnering with local businesses to support their growth and success. The projects our students tackle are real-world and high-impact, ranging from market research and logo design to company development, SEO (search engine optimization), social media strategies, advertising, and more!
By working directly with business owners and managers, students not only develop their technical and creative skills but also build meaningful connections within the community. This collaborative effort helps foster a strong relationship between our school and local businesses, providing mutual value and giving students insight into the challenges and opportunities of running a business. It’s an exciting opportunity for them to apply what they learn in the classroom while making a tangible difference in the community.
DEPARTMENT SPOTLIGHT - Math
ATTENDANCE
We want to take a moment to highlight how critical attendance is to student outcomes. Research consistently shows that chronic absenteeism is linked to several significant challenges, including course failure, an increased risk of dropping out, and lower academic achievement overall. Simply put, when students are frequently absent, it becomes much harder for them to succeed.
Let’s continue to work together to ensure our students have the support they need to attend school regularly and achieve their full potential.
Did you know you have the option to e-mail hsattendance@mystma.org to notify us of a students absence instead of calling the attendance line at 763-497-2192 ext. 4. Please include the name of you student, grade and reason for absence.
