Call for Panelists for the 2023 Career Pathway Talk Series The ILA Students and New Professionals Forum (SANP) is seeking emerging and experienced library professionals to present for the Career Pathway Talk Series. The series will be held every two months between January 2023 and May 2023 at 12:00 p.m. CT as part of the ILA Noon Network Series. Individuals who have worked or are currently working in public, academic, special, and/or school libraries, as well as archives are invited to share your story and tips in pivoting your library and archive career. A detailed schedule of the webinar series, with webinar descriptions, is available on the ILA website. Interested? Please complete the call for panelists form by October 1, 2022. FAMILY READING NIGHT – November 17, 2022 Continues ILA’s iREAD Theme: Read Beyond the Beaten Path. If your school did not receive materials or did not receive enough materials, both posters and bookmarks can be downloaded and printed from the website. SPANISH bookmarks are also available for download!
LETTERS ABOUT LITERATURE – Entry deadline December 15, 2022 Students can enter individually, or through school, library, and youth organizations. The 2023 forms are available online as well as a Teacher Guide.

APPLY NOW FOR FEED YOUR NEED GRANTS
The LBSS Endowment Fund is sponsoring another round of “Feed Your Need” grants this fall.
This grant is only available to school librarians who are AISLE members. AISLE members who are grant recipients will receive $1500 each to provide non-fiction materials to assist in meeting Common Core expectations for their school libraries. Applications will be accepted August 1-September 30. Applicants will be notified no later than November 15th. The application form, and guidelines including rubrics are available on the LBSS website:
