In the event of a Code Orange:
- Live virtual learning day for students from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- School buildings and office buildings are closed.
- Business operations that can be conducted remotely will continue.
- Buses will not operate.
- The School Age Child Care (SACC) program will not open.
- All in-person school activities (day and evening) are canceled, including field trips, team practices, club meetings, interscholastic contests, and athletic contests.
- All non-school activities (day and evening) are canceled, including Adult Education, evening school classes, and community use, including recreational programs scheduled in school buildings.
- Remote (virtual) student extracurricular activities may occur

WINTER SPIRIT WEEK
Freedom High Schools Hosts: Breakfast with Santa: Holidays Around the World!
DATE: 12/16; 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
The Breakfast with Santa Claus event, features the diverse Winter holidays traditions from around the world that warms the hearts of children and adults alike. The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) & Student Council Association (SCA) hope to bring families together to share a magical morning full of smiles, laughter, and giving.
We have invited students from Featherstone Elementary School and the community to the event. The event will include:
- Free Pancake Breakfast which will include different assortments of pancakes with fruit topping, pastries, hot chocolate, coffee, orange juice, tea, and water.
- Activities for the children will include:
- Bilingual holiday story time
- Face painting
- Holiday craft
Visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus and get a Peppermint Lollipop
- Holiday shop with tables where clubs at Freedom can sell items and raise funds.
- Holiday tables show casing how holidays are celebrated in other countries. We will have tables from
- West Africa
- Puerto Rico
- Panama
- We will feature holiday traditions like:
- Christmas
- Kwanza
- Hanukkah
- Posadas
- Diwali
- Winter Solstice
- Holiday music
