Goodbye August

Mrs Drew and I partnered up for a middle school recycling activity. The middle schoolers were tasked with engineering a game/design made only from recycled materials. After some think and build time, students got to work constructing and we even had time to play some of the games designed!

The month of August has been busy for us all! Happy back to school! It has been an eventful two weeks in STEM. We are learning and practicing routines so that we can be successful in our future activities. Some groups are proving that they are ready to begin mixtures and reactions and others are proving they are ready for some engineering projects. I would like to shout out the seventh grade group who has shown their responsibility and will soon be starting a forensic science unit.

Congratulations to all of the star students of August! Every class is a new opportunity to be chosen! Students know they should follow directions, be respectful to the learning environment, and persevere through tasks.

If you are able to help me supply consumable items for the class, I would greatly appreciate it! It helps me supply necessary items for grade specific activities. In addition to consumables, I have a high need for quiet fidgets, pencil grips, and some more classroom rewards.
