Class of 2024 Walks the Halls Where They Had Their Start!
Emotions were high on Tuesday morning as our graduating seniors visited the school buildings they grew up in...from The Early Learning Center to Hobart Middle School, they got a chance to bid farewell to the buildings and teachers that helped shape them! It was, indeed, a very special moment for the Class of 2024!
HHS State Track Qualifiers Celebrated!
On Thursday morning, Hobart High School celebrated its state-bound track athletes with a send-off parade! Best of luck to Cailey, Taylor, Willy, and the HHS Unified Track Team as they compete in the IHSAA State Track and Field Tournament tomorrow and Saturday! We are so proud of all of you!

The School Counseling Department at HHS has compiled this newsletter which contains scholarship and financial aid opportunities for our Brickie students. Mayor's Youth Council
The Mayor's Youth Council seeks students ages 13-19 with exceptional character to advocate for youth perspectives in city government. Council members will gain insight into municipal government, learn about civic engagement, and inform their peers about council initiatives. Members will engage in community outreach with local organizations and spearhead youth-focused service projects.

SAFE is an acronym for “Supporting Addiction Free Environments for Lake County” and is Lake County, Indiana’s coalition against substance, use, abuse and misuse in adults and adolescents. Our members consist of both individuals and organizations and make up our THREE PILLARS: PREVENTION (Education), SUPPORT (Treatment & Intervention), and ACCOUNTABILITY (Law Enforcement & Legislation). Mental Health Awareness Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans’ lives and to celebrate recovery from mental illness. For more than 20 years, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has recognized Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM) every May to increase awareness about the vital role mental health plays in our overall health and well-being and provide resources and information to support individuals and communities who may need mental health support.
