CLMS Family Update
April 25, 2025
From CLMS Principal, Mr. Eric Pettit
Good Afternoon, CLMS Families!
We’re incredibly proud of the focus and determination our students have shown as we near the end of state testing season. Their hard work and positive attitude are making a big impact, and it’s been awesome to see them push through with confidence and pride. We’re excited to carry this momentum through the rest of the year.
We’re also looking forward to an exciting event this Monday—our all-community pep rally! This celebration will bring together students, staff, and community members to recognize the hard work and accomplishments of ALL CLLS students! It’s always a great reminder that Cardington Pride Runs Deep!
We’re also thrilled to announce a new partnership with TRIO Talent Search through Marion Technical College. This program supports students on the path to college and career success—and students as young as 6th grade are eligible to apply! It’s a great opportunity, and we look forward to seeing many of our Pirates get involved.
Don’t forget—yearbooks are still available to order, but time is running out. If you haven’t already, be sure to secure one so your student has a keepsake filled with all the memories from this awesome school year.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our after-school SAIL program possible this year. From our staff to our families and community partners, your support helped provide a safe, engaging space for students to learn and grow beyond the school day.
There’s still time to sign up for the summer SAIL program, and we’d love to see as many students as possible take part. It’s a great way to stay connected, keep learning, and have some fun this summer.
Thank you for your continued support. Go Pirates!
