Principal's Pride
It is my pleasure to acknowledge the following students: Christian Alwes, Sierra Bauer, Rayonna Dahms, Adam Glenz, Blake Irwin, Spencer Janicki, Naomi King, Kiley LeWallen, Lucy Lindeman, Jake Rowe, Tyler Rowe, Anna Shakal, Sophia Sikora, Landon Starck, Olivia Urbanek & Bailey Witt for their display of hard work and thoughtfulness.
Christian has improved his behavior the past few weeks. He is helpful to his teachers and classmates any chance he gets. He is also very respectful and uses his manners fabulously. His teacher is very proud of him, and believes he can do anything he puts his mind to.
Sierra volunteers to help another student in a different group finish his research for his timeline project when his group members were at band practice. Way to be a team player Sierra!
Rayonna comes to school with a positive attitude everyday. We love her smiling face that shines in our classroom! Our class family is glad she has been feeling better, they miss her when she's gone!
Adam can always be counted on for helping at the end of the day. He gets packed up & ready so quickly each day. You can usually find him picking up our class envelope or putting up chairs at our blue reading table. Thanks for all your dedication Adam!
Blake offered to help another student type his informational essay this week in writing class. Blake had already competed the assignment and gave up a little free time to help his classmate. His teacher is very proud of Blake!
Spencer is always a joy to have in class. He is caring, responsible, and respectful. When he's working on something that is challenging him, he never gives up. His teacher is very proud of him and will miss his smiling face next year!
Naomi was very patient with a friend who was having trouble with her homework. She was very kind, and helped her friend through the work. Thank you Naomi for being a good, easygoing friend!
Kiley helped pick up trash on our playground for the last several days at recess. She has such a kind heart. Thank you Kiley, for caring about our playground!
Lucy is a student that is always on task, organized, and willing to help her classmates. She handles trying situations with such grace and maturity. Our classroom is a better place each and every day because of Lucy. Keep it up Lucy girl!
Jake offered to help another student in Hornet Time to get caught up on some late work. He worked with this other student for the entire hour. I was so proud of Jake because he chose to help his classmate over having some free time. Keep up the great work, Jake!
Tyler has been a model student the entire school year. He is always responsible, respectful, and safe. The best part is, he does all of this with a smile on his face. He loves to help other people and does more than his fair share to make our classroom a better place. Keep smiling Tyler!
Anna is such a joy to have in class. The entire school year she has been responsible, kind and hard working. She is the first person that offers to help me or other students. Her calm attitude helps ease the worries of her friends and classmates. Keep up the good work Anna!
Sophia has been so helpful to another classmate. She checks in with this student everyday to make sure she packed her reading books for at-home reading. The other students is so glad to have someone giving a gentle reminder!
Landon has been trying so hard at school. He is very encouraging in his interactions with his friends. He always shows enthusiasm during our classroom activities. Great job Landon!
Olivia was very patient with a friend who was having trouble with her homework. She was very kind and helped her friend through the work. She also helped pick up trash on our playground for the last several days of recess. Thank you Olivia for taking special pride in our school!
Bailey has been a model student the entire year. There hasn't been a day that Bailey wasn't responsible, respectful, or kind. She is such a hard worker and her classwork reflects her strong effort. Bailey is not only a model student, but she is a wonderful friend to all of her classmates. Way to go Bailey!

Students who participate in the “Build a Better World” reading program will earn unique dog tags for completing the program’s reading challenges. These dog tags will help students celebrate and show others all of the reading they have completed over the summer. Students who complete all of the summer reading challenges will be entered into a drawing to win a Kindle Fire Tablet!
For more information on the summer reading program, check out the “Build a Better World” Summer Reading Program letter and reading log/tracker today!
