I hope you had a beautiful weekend!!! Man the weather was beautiful on Saturday after those nasty storms we had on Friday. It's a great annalogy that after rain storm and thunder storms we do get the beauty afterward. It's just like with change, it can be nasty and harsh, but then after the storm, we get the beauty and growth. Sometimes it's growth we didn't even know we could do, but we do, and it's beautiful!!!
Ok, enough of the mushy analogy, I'm just really proud of you all!! and maybe it's because I'm tired, or just really carrying emotions on a high level right now, but I have LOVED working alongside all of you this year, you have taught me so much and I know we are going to continue to grow together!!
I hope you all have an amazing week!!
Challenge for this week: Get with your teams and create a goal for May- What is your goal? To finish out the year?? Please designate someone to send me an email after you have talked as a team, and let me know what your goal is. Please let me know by Wednesday. :)

**Please remember our behavior Heir-achy- if you do need to send a student to me, or have a meeting, please do so, we are all in this together. You also have the intervention team's support too.
Here are students to really keep pushing and keep connecting with for the next 20+ days.....
*Hannah, Blake, Jacob T. - need positive affirmations and positive statement said to them, guidance and talking to on difficult situations, loving guidance, help with skill building.
*Titan - reverted a little bit, needs love and hugs, is craving physical touch like holding his hand, patting him on the shoulders, back, a warm fuzzy on his head. He is craving this right now.
*Rhonda- needs hugs and to know she is loved. She is sad and craves affections. Needs time to process too.
*Jessica H.- needs support from when people are being mean, she needs leadership positions and acceptance from peers. Help set up peer play settings, lunch settings too.
Zoee --*Bradwisch- She needs to know there are adults that care.
Paul- *Norris- Notice him, notice the things he's doing, and let him know we care about him.
*George- Recognize the things he is doing academically, as a peer tutor and great things about his character.
Rhonda --Ayotte- she needs people to acknowledge her, a little hug will go far for her.
Katrina-- Darrington- She needs people to acknowledge her, to know she's there and she matters.
Dominic- Added back on, he's doing great with adult relationships, needs support to create kid relationships- please help guide him.
*AnnaBelle- Richards, She needs to be seen and listened too, but she will be very quiet, just a sweet "Good morning" everyday will help.
*Dalton -

I have taken some off, please keep reaching out to them, and know they are doing soooooo much better!!
OTHER??? - please submit a students name that you know could use more of all of our love!
Where Is Corynn......
Thank you......
1. Thank you to Phil and Sherri for helping and coming up with a very detailed plan to support the classroom moves and needs you each have. I asked them first if the moves were possible and we met many times before the ideas were presented, and each time they were positive, and reassured me it could be done and done well!! They know what they are doing and I believe it will be a seamless process. I was always told when I was younger, "Prior preparation prevents piss poor performance" I feel we are going into this summer very prepared due to their efforts!!
2. Thank you to the teachers who have endured a lot of changes, and embraced them well. For some of you the changes were hard, very hard, and I have watched, visited with you and learned that you all have GRIT!!! You have embraced what you can control and had positive actions on it, and the things that are out of your control you have accepted and found ways to make it work!! Thank you to the staff that accepted the changes and felt like you could do it from the beginning, your open mindedness open mindedness and reassurance that we are doing the right hard things for our students and it will be ok in the end. Thank you for your positive words and insights.
3. Thank you to our Para Educators!!! You all rock!! The ideas you have came up with this year that brought about a positive change in data collection and setting goals with the students, that was powerful!! It's fun to see you in the halls with the kids through progress monitoring, math interventions, and reading groups, the kids love you all and respect you and it shows that you love them!!! Thank you all of you for your hard work and dedication!! Also thank you for play with, keeping our students safe, and working with them out at recess!!
4. Excitement, with the changes there was a dark cloud of gloom and worry, and they has now minimized as most everyone is through the grief cycle of change, and now the feeling and voices are of excitement and vision toward next year. When you are shopping for furniture and redecorating your new spaces in your minds, I know we have arrived at acceptance and it's going to be ok. Thank you to everyone who has shared their new visions with me, it lifts me up!! Sometimes a principals role can be a little lonely or worrisome, "Did I make the right decision??" and when I hear your new visions, excitement, and can do attitudes, it lifts me up to know we are doing those right hard things together!! Thank you for sharing your creativity with me too.
5. Thank you to Janet and Katie!! The 2 powerhouse backbones of our school!! They make me laugh, cry, and feel the love that they have for each of your everyday!! They go along with my crazy ideas, and also let me know when it's just not going to work!! I appreciate their honesty and drive forward! They are 2 of the most kind, caring women I know and when our students do come into the office, regardless of any stress or current tasks, those kids are treated warmly and kindly!! Thank you both for all you do!! The hard work doesn't go un noticed, but definitely needs more acknowledgement because you both make such a huge difference at our school!!
