Karlie Gunderson, Maple Run Unified School District Board member will be at the Saint Albans Free Library, 11 Maiden Lane on Saturday, January 27th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Second Winter Break
Monday, February 26th - Tuesday, March 5th.

A USA parent, her daughter and three other students baked over 200 cupcakes for staff working at St. Albans City School. They assembled in the teaching kitchen on Wednesday, January 24th to complete their work. Once each cupcake was spread with homemade icing, the cupcakes were wheeled around the school building on a cart and delivered to staff where they were working.

USA students were asked to write an anonymous kind note to another student (randomly assigned). It was a good opportunity to think positively about one of their peers.

Team USA students used paper plates to recognize something special and good about other students: respectfulness, skill at playing a sport, etc... The completed plates were mounted to a wall in one of the classrooms for everyone to see.

Students did craft work at their desks or on the floor while Ms. Bashaw read aloud the story of Don Quixote. It was a quiet and focused group. 1-24-2024.

There are three locations around the school where you will find math problems. Take a problem, give it a try, write your name on it, and turn it back in! How many students will be up to the challenge?

Teachers, feel free to take one and make copies for your class if you would like!

8th graders, please provide a baby picture to be added to the 2024 yearbook. Send a high quality (large) digital copy to Mr. Craib mcraib@maplerun.org. Or, provide a paper copy of your picture to your teacher. It will be scanned and returned to you immediately. Thank you.
