With winter here please make sure students are sent to school with jackets, hats, and gloves as needed. It is also very helpful to label your student’s items so they can be quickly returned if lost.
On Tuesday, 12/10, we conducted a security drill with students. Our students did a great job of being first-time listeners and following our procedures.
Penn London is hiring! We are looking for an instructional aide to work 5.5 hours/day. The focus of the position would be working with students to develop their reading skills and training is provided. All interested applicants should apply via the district website.

Congratulations to Mrs. Shiley and Mrs. Gordon who were both awarded grants from the Avon Grove Education Foundation this week! Mrs. Shiley’s grant focuses on creative design and construction with students utilizing cardboard as a recyclable material. Mrs. Gordon’s grant will work to provide literacy resources for our students who are learning English. Thank you to the Ed Foundation for supporting our teachers’ ideas!
