Reading
Description of Work:
I can adapt my reading voice to fit my character’s feelings.
Watch Mr. Putter and Tabby again. Listen to notice when the character’s feelings change by how the reader’s voice changes. As you read your own book today, change your voice to show the character’s feelings.
Read for 20 minutes on RAZ-Kids.
Word Work
For Word Work, watch the "AW" video. Read the Hawk's Nest passage and discuss the questions with your family.
For spelling, write words one time each with chalk or build with legos or playdoh.

Description of Work:
I can write a book series with the same character.
Start writing your book using your ideas from Monday and Tuesday. Use the checklist as a guide. Your story must have a beginning, middle, and end--including your problem and solution. Be sure to write more than 1 sentence to add detail to your story. You will finish your story on Friday. You may use whatever paper you have at home.
Math
Description of Work:
I can use tools to measure.
Watch Mrs. Kelm's mini lesson on measurement. Then watch Sesame Street Measure that Animal video. Trace a family member's hand on a piece of paper. Then trace your hand on another piece of paper. Compare the lengths of the two hands. Cut the hands out and use them to measure objects around your house.
IT'S READ ALOUD TIME
Today you will listen a read aloud called Recycle by Gail Gibbons.
SCIENCE/SOCIAL STUDIES
I can identify ways people exchange of goods and services, and the roles of markets in the exchange of goods and services.
Watch the video on Producers and Consumers. Draw a picture of a market or shop. Label the producers and consumers.
