Happy November

Happy November! Thank you to those of you who were able to tune into our Halloween Parade via LiveStream. We loved being able to celebrate as a school. If you missed viewing the parade, you may view it on the link at the bottom of this newsletter.

We also want to take this time to thank all of our veterans for their service, past and present!

Please know that we are continuing our safety drills (fire drills and lockdown drills) and students are doing a great job practicing being safe!

If your student would like to buy breakfast or lunch, please send in money in a well labeled bag or envelope, or put money onto their account through My School Bucks (click for information)

Please contact adepasquale-Glena@starpointcsd.org for your child's student ID to enroll in MySchoolBucks.

If you plan to have your child get breakfast, please discuss this with them prior to school to make the process seamless for them! If you do not want your child to access breakfast at school, please also communicate with your child around these expectations. Thank you for your help with this!

• November 26th: 1/2 Day of school; Staff Development
  
• November 27th-29th: No School; Thanksgiving Recess
• December 5th and 6th: No School; Parent-Teacher Conferences

Make sure to check out the PTA's sign up for our Helping Hands program. This is a great opportunity to get involved and join in your child's school day through our lunch room. The purpose of Helping Hands is to help ALL Fricano students by assisting in the cafeteria by opening various items, wiping down tables, and getting utensils. You are required to be a member of the PTA to volunteer. PTA SIGN UP HERE.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR FRICANO COMMUNITY VETERANS FOR YOUR SERVICE!

On November 25th, we will have our annual Turkey Trot. Look for a permission "entry" slip in your child's folder soon so they can participate (coming soon!) Students will be invited to walk or run 1/2 for this trot. We encourage all students to participate!
