Happy Pioneer Day and Spanish Fork Fiesta Days! We wanted to share a fun picture of some of our East Meadows Mustangs who gathered on Saturday morning to represent our school in the Fiesta Days Children's Parade. What a fun week of fireworks, city events, the carnival, rodeo and much more! However you celebrated this week, we hope it was a good one!

If you've driven by the school recently, you may have noticed our new marquee! We would like to thank the East Meadows PTA and the Nebo Operations Department for helping make this project a reality. It was a wonderful technological upgrade to our school.

Once the marquee is up and running, we will evaluate and program it to turn off and on at specific times of day to conserve energy and avoid disturbing homeowners in the area.

Our marquee will be a great resource to East Meadows families for many years to come. We will use it to keep you up-to-date with important events and announcements.

On Monday, July 29th & Tuesday July 30th, we will be holding screening assessment sessions for all of our new incoming kindergarten students. This will help us to create balanced classes and prepare for any support or needs our new students may have. The assessment will take around 10-15 minutes.

We also ask that parents fill out a quick survey about their child which you can access by CLICKING HERE. If you've already filled it out, you do not need to fill it out again. If you prefer, this survey is also available to fill out in person (paper/pencil) on the day you come for the screening.

Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 13th for our Back to School Open House. Parents, students and patrons are invited to the school between 2:00-4:00 PM. At this time, you will be able to:

• Tour the school & classroom
• Meet your teacher
• Join PTA
• Order School Shirts

We can't wait to see you then and are looking forward to a wonderful school year!

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 14th. This year our kindergarten students will be joining us starting on the very first day as well. We wanted to send out the school schedule for you as a reminder of when school starts and ends each day, including our early out days on Monday.

PS: Magnets with our full year schedule are being printed now and will be available in the front lobby on the day of our open house. You can also access the district 2024-2025 calendar by CLICKING HERE. This calendar will show when the terms begin and end and includes all holidays and district development days.

Many thanks to the families and community members who came out for the fundraiser event for Reagan and Olivia that was held at the school on June 22nd. It was a beautiful evening filled with great food, entertainment and fun for the whole family. Our East Meadows Community is truly the best at helping and supporting one another.

Applications are now open to apply for Free and Reduced Lunch for the 2024-2025 school year. We encourage you to fill out an application early so your child's account will be set up and ready to go by the first week of school. If you are wondering if you may qualify, we highly encourage you to apply. You will be notified by email prior to school starting.
