Semester Exam Exemption Information
Last week, students received their exemption cards for semester exams. Exemption cards must be turned in to their R6 class period with a parent or guardian signature in order to exempt any classes. Cards are due on Friday, May 17th. The below criteria must be met to be exempt from semester exams at Liberty High School.
- Students must maintain an 85 or above average in a class in order to be exempt.
Students may not have more than 4 absences or tardies in any one period of the class they want to exempt (If the class is double blocked, they cannot have more than four absences or tardies for any one period to be eligible for an exemption.)
Students with perfect attendance are granted an extra exemption that can be used in any class as long as they have a 70 average and they meet attendance requirements.
Exemptions will be held until all school debts have been paid.
If students have to take a test at any time during a final exam day, they may leave after their exam.
Students are not exempt from review days. All students must attend and stay in class on review days - May 16th and 17th.

Physicals
The Athletic Training staff for LCISD is preparing for the 2024-2025 school year, and would like to remind the parents of our athletes and marching band members about pre-participation physicals. All athletes, members of the marching band, and Cheer/POM members are required to get a new pre-participation physical. Physicals must be dated after April 1, 2024 to be accepted for the 2024-2025 school year. Once completed, you will be able to upload those physical forms to RankOne after May 30, 2024, or you can submit the paper document to one of our Athletic Trainers.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Head Athletic Trainer, Isaac Wimberley at iwimberley@lcisd.net

Attendance Notification Information
Parents are to report student absences including early outs/late arrivals in their Skyward Family Access via an attendance request. This can be done in the app or on a computer and should be completed 48 hours after the absence.
When submitting an Early Out or Late Arrival absence request, please be sure to UNSELECT the ‘all day check mark’. This ensures the attendance office knows what time your child will be leaving and/or arriving. Campus attendance email is for submitting documentation, such as a doctor's note. If you have any questions, please contact Morgan Petty at mpetty@lcisd.net or call the front office.
Outside Food Delivery
Due to security concerns, no outside entity (DoorDash, Pizza delivery, Chick-fil-a delivery, etc.) will be allowed to drop off lunches for students. Parents/Guardians may bring lunch for their students. Lunch can be dropped off in the front office. Please be sure your student knows they are getting lunch so they can come pick it up in the office.
