The Days Of Good Attendance
Dear Parents and Students,
We are excited to announce the 12 Days of Good Attendance, designed to encourage students to maintain consistent attendance as we approach the holiday break. This initiative will run from December 5, 2024 through December 20, 2024, and will include daily prize drawings.
Each day, one winner will be selected from each grade level to receive a small prize. On December 20, 2024, a special drawing will be held for students who have achieved perfect attendance throughout the 12-day period. The lucky winners will enjoy a special treat: Cookies with Ms. Courts.
All students who are present at school during this time are eligible for the daily drawings, regardless of grade level. We encourage everyone to participate by being present and on time each day!
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to celebrating good attendance with our students as we head into the holiday season!
Warm regards,
Ms. Courts

Avondale Families,
This is a reminder for all families to complete the CEP Education Benefits Application, if you have not already for this school year. Although school meals are free for all students, it is critical that all households complete the CEP Education Benefits Application.
This information determines the amount of money our schools receive from a variety of State and Federal supplemental programs like Title I A, At-Risk (31a), Title II A, E-Rate, etc. These supplemental programs have the potential to offer supports and services for our students including, but not limited to:
- Instructional supports (staff, supplies and materials, etc.)
- Non-instructional services (counseling, social work, health services, etc.)
- Professional learning for staff
- Parent and community engagement supplies and activities
- Technology
Families can submit their completed application online through the Meal Magic Family Portal. Any questions can be forwarded to Megan Haase at megan.haase@avondaleschools.org.
Please complete and submit the application as soon as possible to ensure that additional funding for our school is available to meet the needs of our students. All information on the application submitted is confidential. Without your assistance in completing and returning the application, our schools cannot maximize the use of available State and Federal funds.

Avondale's Highschool Newsletter
Good Morning!
Here is the most recent Athletic Newsletter!
Last night I had the pleasure of spending my evening at Avondale Middle School to see the 7th & 8th Grade Home Opener for Boys Basketball and Cheer. Both teams were victorious over Larson Middle School!
The 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Cheerleaders were full of spirit on the sidelines! It was a great evening! I hope you enjoy my pictures of this event in my newsletter.
Go Mustangs!
I hope you all have a wonderful break!
Thanks,
Denise
