A Note from the Principal
Happy Friday! We hope that everyone has had a fun week of homecoming dress up days!
This weekend has so many exciting activities for your family to attend. Sunday, September 15 has our bookfair and GRAND event for grades preschool through second. The bookfair will be in the OLD elementary library. On Sunday, please park in the FRONT lot and enter through the OLD elementary entrance. We will have activities in the hall near the book fair for grandparents to complete with their students. This will take place from 1-3. There will be other opportunities for shopping and an opportunity to see the PRESCHOOL through SECOND grade students and their classrom on Wednesday, September 18 from 1:30-2:10. The classrooms will have activities and you are welcome to shop at the book fair! If you have a student in grades THIRD through SIXTH, there WILL NOT be activities in their classrooms, and they may shop AFTER the school day with you! The Book Fair will be open until 5:00 pm that day! (**Third through sixth grade students will have a GRAND event in the spring. We realize parking can be tough when we invite everyone on the same day, so we are trying to ease that parking issue.**)
On Sunday, September 15th at 2:00, head outside from the book fair and enjoy our PTO Carnival in our school parking lot! This is an event that had early ticket purchase, but you can buy a ticket at the event for $10. Join us for an afternoon of FUN!
We are thrilled to work with your child(ren) and look forward to the rest of our school year!
Respectfully,
Mrs. Kountz
