Saint Bridget School: a Catholic community that encourages a love of God, respect for all, and academic excellence.
Principal's Notes
As we enter Holy Week, we came together as a school community to reflect on the significance of Palm Sunday—the day we remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. This powerful moment in our faith reminds us of the joy, hope, and promise that come with welcoming Christ into our hearts.
During our Tuesdays Together gathering this past week, our focus centered on the meaning of Palm Sunday and the joy that accompanies this sacred season. It was a meaningful opportunity for our students to deepen their understanding through listening, reflection, and prayer.
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the most sacred week in the Christian calendar. It calls us to remember the values of humility, service, and love, as Jesus entered the city not as a conqueror, but as a servant leader.
We invite you to take a few quiet moments this week to talk with your child about the meaning of Holy Week, and to join us in prayerful reflection as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter Sunday.

Join us in celebrating the dedication, imagination, and spiritual growth of our school family during this holy season. Teacher Spotlight - Thinking Ahead to Summer Reading
Summer is around the corner and it’s not too early to start planning for summer reading. Summer reading is a proven way to strengthen reading skills. In one study it showed that 78% of third to fifth graders who read books over the summer were able to maintain or improve their reading levels from spring to fall. The key to reading is engaging with books that match student’s interests and reading levels. Family support helps students to be successful and build a lasting love of reading. Below are some resources to help families find just right books for their students. Please get in touch with me, Mrs. Curran, or with your student’s teacher if you would like assistance!
