Bulldog Blast
11/1/2024
Note From Principal Pautler
Greetings Bulldogs ~
When you're a parent of a senior - the year is filled with a LOT of lasts. I was reminded of this last night as I watched the marching band perform at the OBA preview show. One more marching band weekend left for our senior parents. With that I'm sure comes a bit of relief but also a fair amount of sadness that one journey is ending. Thank you to all our parents of seniors - in all our activities - who are going through a year full of "lasts." Your dedication to your kids and our school is noticed and we appreciate you!!
As you may have heard, our Volleyball program won a 6A state title this past weekend. What an AMAZING accomplishment! When you think about the road to a championship - it's such a long journey. Late night games, miles on the road, wins, losses, good times and struggles - a high school season, whatever the activity, is a true pilgrimage. Congrats to all those EMHS Volleyball families on this accomplishment - you have truly built a LEGACY!!
We will celebrate all our fall sports this next Friday, November 8th, at a full school assembly. This gives coaches and directors a moment to brag on the accomplishments and an opportunity for us as a Memorial family to honor the hard work and SACRIFICE that has taken place this fall. It's a crowded environment but you're always welcome to come and join us.
Have a GREAT weekend Bulldogs. Let's hope for dry weather in Broken Arrow both tonight for football and tomorrow for band so our kids can compete safely. We'll see you at the next home event Memorial - GO DOGS!
- One last thing - there are some new items in the senior section. Be sure to read down to those!

EMHS Marching Band - Competes this Weekend @ OBA
Our marching band has been EXTREMELY busy this week as they traveled to St. Louis last weekend to compete (DID AMAZING) - competed at the OSSAA contest on Tuesday (DID AMAZING) - and travels to Broken Arrow tomorrow to compete at the OBA end of the year contest. Good Luck to our AWESOME band, guard, and band staff as they finish their season VERY strong!!

Should you want to take advantage of this opportunity - please complete the form as soon as possible. You DO NOT have to complete all of the wish list fields. If you do not want/need one of the categories, you can leave it blank. If you have any questions or need help, contact Mrs. Hendricks in room 422 (upstairs in the Freshman Academy). Thank you!
AP Exam Payment Due
For those students who have registered for any AP exams - the first deadline has already passed. To keep your student registered for the exam, please ensure that payment is made by Monday, November 11. If payment is not received by this date, we will unfortunately need to unregister your student.

James Lankford to Visit EMHS - Seniors - November 4th
United States Senator James Lankford will be visiting Memorial High School this Monday afternoon and our Senior class will have the opportunity to hear from him. To be clear, the purpose of this visit is to talk about the mechanics of federal government - and to hear about it directly from our elected official. We're looking forward to this visit and I know many of our kids are as well. It should be AMAZING.
