Senior Meeting October 1st
All seniors attended a quarterly meeting on the morning of October 1st in the auditorium. This included information about how to order cap/gowns, senior apparel, and other items from Herf Jones. Students also learned about senior fees, graduation details, and information about college application week. Here is the slide show presentation from that meeting summarizing the information. Here is the link for the grad memo they received during the meeting. Please review this information with your child and plan ahead for ordering, paying fees, and attending graduation ceremony. There are specific directions and limitations that are important to be aware of. We always have seniors that need a little financial assistance to afford some of the costs at the end of the year. If you would like to contribute please reach out to Mrs. Treadway at tonyatreadway@fcschools.net.
Seniors have been meeting with their counselors over the last few weeks and have been given a list of important dates to remember for senior celebrations at the end of the year. (see attachment)
Senior Portraits:
Hey Seniors,
All seniors need to be photographed by CADY studios by October 25th if they would like their portrait in the yearbook. If you missed the Cady Road Show earlier this month and still have not had your senior made, it is not too late! Check out the information below to set up your appointment.

Warrior Spotlight!
Kaden Grissom
Mrs. Riley would like to shine the Warrior Spotlight on Kaden Grissom. As always, Kaden was very helpful as she was trying to transport cafeteria trash to the dumpster one day this week.
Here is the story she shared:
Kaden could of looked the other way and not helped me when trash fell off the golf cart. Instead he helped me pick it up. Not only one time, but twice (the bag busted opened) and walked and followed me from the gym all the way around to the back of the school where the dumpsters are. He also helped me throw the trash and cardboard away.
Kim Wood
This week we would like to shine the Warrior Spotlight on Kim Wood. This staff member wears many hats at LMHS and serves students across the county as well. She is the registrar, test coordinator, APEX Coordinator, and Alternative Learning Facilitator for FCS. Kim is a strong advocate for all of our students but she goes the extra mile for those students that need extra support. In addition to all of that she is instrumental in planning our special events for our seniors, including graduation. Thank you for all you do Kim!
