Senior Recognition Ceremony π Save the Date!

Certification Testing is Underway!
CNA Certification Testing
Congratulations to the Area 30 Nursing students for their incredible hard work and commitment to the nursing career pathway! These dedicated students have successfully completed their skills and written CNA exam, along with countless hours of classroom study and 75 hours of clinical training to earn their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Way to go! ππ
ServSafe Certification Testing
Congratulations to these six Culinary Arts students for passing their ServSafe Certification!
Did you know that many employers in the food service industry, especially those with national chains, require or prefer ServSafe certification? Earning this credential sets our Area 30 students apart and increases their appeal in the job market.

Narcan Administration and Stop the Bleed Certifications
This week Area 30 certified 119 students in "Stop the Bleed" and Narcan Administration. All students from Teacher Education, Early Childhood Education, Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue, Nursing, Medical Assisting, Human and Social Services, and WIRED participated.
β Student Spotlight: Kaleb Danikow (NPHS)
Congratulations to Kaleb Danikow (NPHS) from the Computer Systems and Networking Program on his full-time employment offer from the Spear Corporation! Kaleb is a second year CSN student that has been working at Spear since January through a Work-Based Learning opportunity. He is also working toward his CompTIA NET+ certification in the CSN Program. Thank you to Pam Shaner, Director of Human Resources, and Jason McClain, System Administrator, for this great opportunity!

β Student Spotlight: Damien Plott (GHS)
Shoutout to Damien Plott (GHS) from the Computer Systems and Networking (CSN) program for taking 3rd place at the SkillsUSA State Competition last week! During his time in CSN, Damien has learned to build and troubleshoot computers, demonstrated advanced networking skills, and gained valuable knowledge in cybersecurity threats and threat actors. Way to go, Damien!

Food Pantry @ New Providence
Last week, Nakiyah Vaughan (NPHS), Alex Acosta (CHS), Megan Bumgardner (SPHS), and Mariah Wilson (SPHS) volunteered at the New Providence Food Pantry, where they helped sort, organize, and distribute food to local families in need. This experience gave them a meaningful glimpse into the power of community service and the difference it can make. A heartfelt thank you to New Providence and all the nonprofit organizations across Putnam County for their continued efforts to support and make a difference in our community.
Area 30 Career Fair
This month, Area 30 hosted its annual Career Fair. Juniors and Seniors from our partner high schools attended the event, engaging with 28 employers, military, and post-secondary education opportunities.

Whether you're preparing for graduation, looking ahead to next year, or simply trying to improve your grades, your hard work now will pay off.
