MMS Artist of the Week

This weeks artist of the week is 6th grader Ava Fritzsch. She created a beautifully drawn shoe by working with outlines and contour lines. Keep up the great work and continue striving for accuracy.

This Week's Highlights

Math 7 - Mrs. Gallagher and Mr. Tsavalias

Students are studying ratios, rates and scale drawings. Students applied scale factor to create enlargements of various images. Each class also created an enlarged poster of a famous painting.

Vaping

We continue to take our students safety and health seriously. One step we've taken in the past is to keep families informed of potential dangerous habits and behaviors. Here is a resource for parents on vaping. It has some links to additional resources within this site.

Student Pictures

While we don't have an exact timeline, we do know that once the proofs are ready to view, parents/guardians will receive emails to the email addresses listed in Skyward. Parents/guardians then have time to choose backgrounds and submit their orders. The pictures that parents order are sent directly home by JPIX. The school ID cards will be mailed to the school and we'll distribute those here at school.
