Principal's Message
Dear NISL Families,
As we welcome this blessed month of Ramadan, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your family. May Allah SWT grant us a Ramadan filled with renewed faith, spiritual growth, and purification of our hearts. May our fasting, prayers, and good deeds be accepted, and may we multiply our rewards during this sacred time.
A Powerful Opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah
The Prophet Muhammad (๏ทบ) said:
"When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except for three: a continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge from which people benefit, and a righteous child who prays for them."
(Sahih Muslim 1631)
Supporting Islamic education is a form of Sadaqah Jariyah that benefits generations to come. Your donation ensures that deserving students can receive quality, holistic Islamic education, helping nurture our leaders of tomorrow.
Join Us for Our Virtual Fundraiser!
Date: Saturday, March 8, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM โ 10:00 PM
Location: Virtual (WhatsApp)
Why Your Support Matters:
Nur Islamic School of Louisville does not receive government funding and relies entirely on tuition and generous community donations to operate. We are raising funds for the Financial Aid Fund for the 2025-2026 school year, providing need-based tuition assistance to students from low-income families, many of whom qualify for zakat. With your generosity, we can give more children access to an excellent Islamic education and create a lasting impact on their faith and future.
How You Can Help:
Attend & Support the Fundraiser โ Join us online for an inspiring night of giving.
Spread the Word โ Share the event flyer on social media and encourage friends, family, and colleagues to contribute.
Make a Contribution โ Donate securely online at www.nurislamicschool.org/donate or via check (please note "Ramadan Campaign" in the memo for proper allocation).

Letโs make the most of this blessed month by investing in knowledge and Sadaqah Jariyah. May Allah SWT bless you abundantly, accept your charity, and multiply your rewards.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your support!
Sincerely,
Aisha Blagaia

Welcome Ramadan Workshop
Middle School STUCO (Student Council) organized NISL's first "Welcome Ramadan Workshop" for students in kindergarten through 8th grade on Tuesday, February 25 to nurture a connection and love for Allah's sacred days.
