A Message from Mrs. Autrey
Let's Finish Strong
As we approach the season of End-of-Grade Testing, it's natural for both parents and children to feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. To help ease this transition and ensure your child feels supported, here are some valuable tips to consider:
1. Use Your Resources: Begin by gathering all the pertinent information about the upcoming tests. Knowing the dates, types of tests, and duration will allow you to prepare your child effectively and alleviate any uncertainties.
2. Communicate: Encourage open dialogue with your child about their feelings regarding the tests. Teaching them to express emotions constructively fosters resilience and emotional intelligence, invaluable skills for their future endeavors.
3. Healthy Habits: Prioritize your child's well-being by ensuring they get adequate rest the night before each test. A nutritious breakfast and staying hydrated with water during the exam can enhance focus and concentration.
4. Stay Positive: Remind your child of their worth and value. Positivity and encouragement can boost their self-esteem and resilience in the face of challenges.
By implementing these strategies and offering unwavering support, we can empower our children to approach testing with confidence and resilience, fostering their holistic development into capable and resilient individuals.
Warm regards, Mrs. Kristie Autrey
