The Tuesday Notice
February 18, 2025
Today, two Siskiyou alumni, Ben Levin (Hummingbird Class of 2023) and James Beers (Dolphin Class of 2022), visited our middle school to showcase the robot they and their robotics team at St. Mary's built. They shared how the Siskiyou School’s emphasis on communication and creativity has helped them collaborate effectively and succeed in the robotics competition. As our middle schoolers prepare for their transition to high school, it’s inspiring for them to see our alumni thriving. Thank you, Ben and James!

Grandparents' Day Volunteer Sign-Ups
As you all know, parking is limited. Please drop grandparents/friends off with your students in the morning, if you are able, so they don't have to park far from school and walk in.
Throughout the day, starting right at 8:10 a.m., we will be offering times for photos with grandparents/grandfriends and students. If you can help remind our older friends to get a photo first thing, that would be most helpful! Thank you!
Please reach out to our Sarah Collins, our Events & Fundraising Coordinator, with any questions or comments. sarah.collins@siskiyouschool.org or 541-482-8223 ext. 20
Open to Siskiyou families and the community! Bring a friend!!
The middle school years are a crucial time for healthy development. Students thrive in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can grow into their best selves. At the Siskiyou School, we are committed to:
- Providing an education free from cell phones and social media.
- Encouraging students to become strong self-advocates who engage thoughtfully with peers and adults.
- Honoring growth through meaningful and exciting rites of passage.
Join us for a conversation with our teachers about how we protect childhood while equipping students with the skills and confidence they need for a bright, dynamic future! Join us in the 6th grade classroom this Wednesday.
This talk is directed to adults and is not intended to be attended by students or children.
Our community classifieds are posted as a service to our Siskiyou School families and our broader community. If you would like to include something in the classifieds, email your text (a few lines in length) or an image file (png or jpg only), to kristin.beers@siskiyouschool.org no later than Monday by 3:00 pm. We may edit it for space purposes. Classifieds are included for two weeks, require a break for a week, and then can be renewed upon request.
