Dacula Middle School had three wonderful finalist for Teacher of the Year! Finalist included Keri Beth Jones, Deborah McNulty and Debra Thomas! Though we had three amazing candidates, Ms. Debra Thomas was chosen to represent Dacula Middle School at the county level! Congratulations Ms. Debra Thomas!

Parents, changes are being made to how you will receive notification when your child is absent. Currently, you receive a notification from SchoolMessenger if your child is absent for the day. Soon you will receive a notification each time your child is marked absent from a class. Please note this change to SchoolMessenger is coming from Gwinnett County Public Schools, and is not just a change at Dacula Middle School. We thank you for your support, patience and understanding in working to keep your children safe.

Reflections posters are located throughout the school. Pick up your Reflections Entry Packet in the media center or front office. If you have any questions please email DMS.reflections17@gmail.com

We are forming our yearly Media Committee which is comprised of DMS teachers, parents and students. Are you a parent who would like to join this committee? We meet once month, as needed, at 8:15 AM in the Media Center. If you are interested in helping the DMS Media Center be an integral part of the school, please consider joining.

These databases contain authoritative, accurate and educational information for student use. There is information that cannot be found using a free search engine such as Google or Bing. There are magazine articles, encyclopedias, images and videos as some of the material available for students.
