Letter from the Board of Directors
September 2024
Hello Chisago Lakes Area Chamber and Community Members,
With warmer temperatures predicted for this weekend, it is hard to believe that fall is around the corner. Every year we wrap up the summer months at the Chamber with the Chisago Lakes Chamber Annual Golf event. The annual golf tournament was a success with many teams, sponsors and businesses participating. A special thanks to all of the volunteers behind the scenes to make the golf tournament a reality and success.
September also means the return to school. In a few short days, we will welcome back over 3,000 bright, talented, energetic students to our schools and we couldn’t be more excited! Incredible things happen in our buildings daily and we consider it an honor and privilege to serve the students and families of Chisago Lakes. The first day of school is such an important day and we cannot wait for Tuesday, September 3rd!
As we move into the fall season, we have a few notable events:
● Monthly Luncheon at Pleasant Valley Orchard on Thursday, September 12 from 11:30am - 1:00pm. To register, click here.
● Chisago Lakes High School Homecoming Week - September 16th - 20th - ending with the Homecoming Football game on Friday, September 20th vs Big Lake. Tickets are only available online - click here to purchase tickets for any upcoming Wildcat Activities event.
● Art on the Block is an annual event at Glädje, inviting all artists and makers to set up a booth in the greenspace next to their building! Their goal with this event is to bring artists and makers together for the public to connect, shop, and learn. Join Glädje on Saturday, September 28th from 10:00am - 5:00pm.
