WHAT'S UP AT WMS?
HIGH SCHOOL VISITS
We are leveraging the proximity of WMS to WHS and bringing our 8th-grade students to visit their future high school at Moxley. Tours were led by Mr. Kraig Gustafson (8-12 Social Studies Coordinator) and Ms. Laura Alderson (Director of CTE). We have also collaborated with WHS through the use of departmental time in which teachers from the high school and middle school meet to discuss how to make our students transition seamless.
DIVERSITY NIGHT
Diversity Night was a fun celebration of our community! Many school clubs and local organizations were represented. We had food, music, prizes, and a great time together! We love events like these that celebrate the rich and diverse community in which we live.
OUTDOOR TIME
Students are seen enjoying the sunshine during recess. Our students always have the opportunity to move their bodies after lunch in our side yard.
