The 2022-2023 School Year is HERE!
If you are still wondering about school supplies, you can find the link on our website or click here! If you ordered your school supplies through First Day School Supplies, they will be delivered this week and you can pick them up Friday, August 5th or we will conveniently deliver the box to your child's homeroom class.

Reminders:
The Children's Center (CC K-1) doors open at 7:15.
The South Campus doors (SC 2-5) open at 7:15.
Breakfast is served from 7:15-7:45 in the SC and CC.
School starts at 8:00.
Students K-5 are tardy at 8:01.
IF YOUR CHILD IS TARDY, you must park, walk in and show ID to sign them in.
Dismissal is at 3:30.
We now have a Bus Route!! If you are interested in the Bus Route and to sign up your child, visit the TRANSPORTATION tab under CEDAR HILL on our website!
All 2-5 students will be able to go to the younger sibling at dismissal. If you are interested in your SC child going to your CC child, please fill out the BUS TRANSPORTATION form.
If your child is attending Kids in Action, fill out the BUS TRANSPORTATION form.
We are working to eliminate students walking across the street as much as possible. If you do not want your child to go to the youngest sibling, you will need to come through both pickup lines at dismissal.
Meet the Teacher!
Please ensure you have filled out your returning or new student registration packet. Failure to have your information filled out will result in a delay in finding out your HOMEROOM TEACHER.
All students will find out about their homeroom teacher during our Meet the Teacher event.
Checklist for the New Year:
- Complete your returning or new student registration packet.
- Fill out the Free Reduced Application for each student.
- Transportation form filled out for transportation to the CC for Trinity Church's Kids in Action and to younger siblings.
- If you wish to bring your school supplies to Meet the Teacher, you may! If you ordered through FIRST DAY SCHOOL SUPPLIES, we will have them and we will deliver them to their homeroom teacher. If you wish to pick them up, please notify us ahead of time and you can pick them up Friday, August 5th.
Leader in Me
We strive to be the best we can be and prepare our Leaders for a jump start in leadership in our community. The skills they will learn here will help them throughout their educational career and through life!
We are going to strive to become a Lighthouse school, so be on the lookout for Leader in Me lessons and family activities!
DRESS CODE- POLOS and CLEAR OR MESH BACKPACKS ONLY
All students must wear black, gray, or khaki bottoms. NAVY BLUE IS NOT PERMITTED.
Students must also wear accessories and solid socks- please do not send your child with socks out of the dress code or hair accessories out of the dress code.
All colored hair, extensions, and/or weave must be a solid natural hair color. Unnatural hair colors and two-tone hair colors are not permitted.
All backpacks must be either clear or mesh. The mesh can be any design.
On Friday, your leader may wear spirit wear and plain blue jeans without rips, holes, tears, designs, or embellishments. Here is a link to our online SPIRIT STORE.
We will follow district policy for dress code and policy violations. The dress code can be found on page 8 of our Student Handbook.

NO MORE FREE LUNCH- NEW FOOD SERVICE COMPANY
If you do not have it filled out before the first day, you will be charged per breakfast, per lunch, and per milk. You will be responsible for sending lunch money or paying your food service bill.
Texas Leadership is also changing our Food Service provider. Your children will now be offered Freshly prepared food daily! NO MORE FOOD PODS!!! See the video below for an update from Serina Marturano, our district Food Service Director.
Our menu site and registration is currently under construction, but you will be able to use this link below in the future for our menus and our Free Reduced application.
Breakfast and Lunch-- NO MICROWAVES or OUTSIDE DELIVERIES
We do not allow food deliveries for students unless the parent or guardian drops it off at the front desk receptionist in person. All deliveries from outside delivery companies will be denied and returned. Your child will be offered a school breakfast or lunch and their individual account will be charged the cost of the breakfast or lunch.
If you are coming up to eat with your child, you will need to check in at the front desk, get your visitor sticker and you may only eat with your child. Their friends and class are not permitted to eat with you.

A little reminder to help you stay ahead of the game-- All Texas Leadership students must have a current and up-to-date immunization record/affidavit on file. Please contact your child's pediatrician to set up an appointment if they are reaching their next scheduled immunizations.

Mandi McBain
My name is Mandi McBain and I was born in Beaumont, TX. I graduated from Brazosport High School in Freeport, TX, and earned my BA from the University of North Texas. In 2017, I earned my M. Ed. in Leadership and Policy Studies from UTA. I am a child of God, wife to Bill, and a mother to six amazing blessings. Life is crazy and I am abundantly blessed.
I am in my 7th year working for Texas Leadership and my 2nd year at Trinity Leadership in Cedar Hill. I have served our families in many different capacities since beginning my journey with Texas Leadership; in addition to my role as Elementary Principal. I am here to serve you, so if you ever need anything, my office is located in the South Campus (SC 2-5) building. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
