Greetings STM-STC Families,

We are entering the final 5 days of the year, and I am very excited we get to end our Christmas celebration with so much fun! A big thank you to student council for putting together a Christmas spirit week. This week is a complete dress down as long as the student is adhering to dress code for said spirit day.

Christmas parties will be held on Thursday, and my hopes is to get around to everyone with Santa between 1pm and 2 pm. If you are a parent volunteer during this time, please be mindful about bringing younger ones, with the amount of students and parents and goodies around, it can get hectic.

Reminder that this year the 3pm Christmas Eve Mass at St. Michael will be our school mass. Thank you to those families who have volunteered to serve. We currently only need readers and two more servers. Please email me at mzipp@stmstc.org if interested.

Please make sure you are communicating these dates with everyone in your family. There have been a few occasions where students have been here well past the early dismissal times or even on days off, a grand parent or family member is sitting out front waiting for dismissal. See below for the upcoming early dismissals and days off, and forward to those who are responsible for picking your child up. Thank you!

Our Trimester 1 Awards Assembly will take place on Wednesday, December 18th immediately following our Living Nativity presentation in the church. Both events will be Live streamed beginning at 9:30AM. Feel free to join us to celebrate the season as well as our amazing students!

Please join us for an evening of Christmas talent from our school students in grades PreK - 5 at our annual Christmas concert! The concert will take place in the church on Tuesday, December 17th at 6:30PM. For those who are unable to make it on Tuesday at 6:30PM, please join us at the live stream of our school performance at 10:00AM on Monday, December 16th. Students in PreK - 5 should wear Christmas "Sunday Best" to the performance. All students must arrive by 6:15PM on the 17th and all students will sit with their parents. We can't wait to see this performance!

The annual Overlea Christmas Tree Lighting is taking place this Saturday, December 14th. Our very own St. Michael - St. Clement School Choir will be singing Christmas carols at 7:00PM. All are welcome! Please see the flyer below for more details. We hope to see everyone there!
