Thank You to Our PTO Hospitality Committee and TCE Families!
We wanted to send a big "Thank You" to our TCE Hospitality Committee and 4th grade families that provided snacks and door prizes for our October Faculty Meeting. It is always such a treat for us, and we appreciate all the generosity towards our staff from TCE Families.
Congratulations to our Top Texans that were recognized during our spirit rally.
Color Run Updates & Reminders
We are only a week away from our Town Center Color Run, and we hope to see you all there! See below for reminders and updates.
- All TCE learners are able to participate at no cost.
- Parents, siblings, and friends are encouraged to attend and join in the fun! Click the link below to register. All registration costs directly benefit Town Center Elementary PTO, so we'd love to have as many parents, siblings, and friends join in.
- Food pre-orders are due today via the link below.
- PTO is tracking the amount of money raised by homeroom classes each day and classes continue to earn prizes as a group based on the amount raised. Ask your child about the fun incentives their class has won so far!
- Students' Color Run shirts will be sent home on Thursday.
We'd love for our TCE Family & Friends to Help Us Reach Our $20,000 Goal!
A Note From Our Librarian
It's that time of year! Fall leaves, cool air, and PUMPKINS! The TCE Library presents the Book Character Pumpkin Extravaganza! Your child or family can decorate a pumpkin as a book character. Please NO CARVED pumpkins. You may decorate, paint, glue, etc. a real or fake pumpkin to look like a character from a book. Please include a paper or index card with your child's name, homeroom class, character's name and book title. Pumpkins may be dropped off in the library through October 30th and will be sent home October 31st. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Mancuso at kmancuso@coppellisd.com

A Note From Nurse Crenshaw
St. Ann's Thanksgiving Baskets
St. Ann’s Catholic Parish is once again sponsoring Thanksgiving Basket deliveries (or a pickup option at St Ann’s Church if you prefer). This program provides families in need with a complete Thanksgiving dinner for the entire family. The baskets will be delivered to your home the weekend before Thanksgiving, so it is critically important that an adult representing the family be at the home between the hours of Noon and 4PM on Sunday, November 24th, 2024. The deadline to sign up for a basket is October 22nd, 2024.
Please fill out this form with all information requested. Please contact Nurse Crenshaw if you have any questions. kcrenshaw@coppellisd.com
Yearbook Orders Open!
Free & Reduced Meal Eligibility
In order to qualify for Free & Reduced Meals, families are required to complete an application each year to determine their eligibility. CISD is encouraging our eligible families to complete an application online at www.nlappscloud.com.
Parents, guardians or students can add funds to their accounts in person at the school cafeteria via cash or check, or for a small fee, they can use the "My School Bucks" app to deposit funds with a debit or credit card. Visit www.coppellisd.com/childnutrition for more information about school breakfasts and lunches or to create or add funds to your child’s school lunch account.
Dads and Dudes Club
If you are interested in learning more about or joining our Dads and Dudes Club, we'd love to have you. Please email Nick Walther at dadsclub@towncenterpto.org and be on the lookout for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
Background Checks
We ask that all families complete a volunteer background check at the start of the year. They do not carry over from year to year. Since the background checks take time to process, we ask that everyone completed one in case any type of volunteering opportunity (class field trip, Dads and Dudes Club, Room parent, class volunteer, field day, etc.) arises during the year that you are interested in. Please click on the link below to complete.
Upcoming Dates - Join Us!
We want to make sure all of our families are in the loop about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Please mark your calendars with our fall events.
