National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

Our district is hosting a Round Dance on Wed, Sep 25 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Irondale High School. All our Welcome to attend!

All students will have their picture taken on September 26!

Some important information:

• DO NOT WEAR GREEN. Josten's uses a green screen technology.
• You order a few days after picture day so you can view your child's picture. Click here for Jostens website and use code FE54924.
• All orders will be mailed to your home.
• We have scholarships available for ordering pictures. If you are interested in a scholarship, click here.

We will be looking for volunteers to help students with their hair, etc so they are ready for their photo. All volunteers will receive a voucher that can be used towards your picture order. We are looking for a parent for the following shifts:

• 11-12:50
  
• 1:15-3:15

CARES-A-THON kickoff starts Mon, Sep 23!

Monday is the first day of our PTO CARES-a-thon fundraiser! Over the next 11 days students will engage in learning more about (C.A.R.E.S) the pillars of Valentine Hills and asking family, neighbors and friends to donate to the PTO so we can help enrich the school’s education and community. This year’s goal is $45,000. A flier with information and details will be coming home soon. You can follow the Fundraiser progress on Facebook, Instagram or visiting the PTO website.

We will end the fundraiser with a celebration of the hard work with a fun day outside on Thu, Oct 3. Volunteers are needed for one hour shifts. Sign Up Today.
