We are so excited to get the 2024-2024 school year started! At this time, teacher assignments are visible to families through Skyward Family Access. Be sure to check your email this afternoon for a message and an informative video from your child's new teacher!
Tomorrow, you and your family are invited to attend Meet the Teacher & Supply Drop Off from 3:00PM to 4:00PM. It's a great opportunity to see your new classroom, organize your supplies, and meet up with friends you haven't seen since the start of summer. Because LISD policy states families may only escort Kindergarten students to class on the first day of school, this event is the perfect time to take some cute back-to-school photos!
Parents of students in Grades 1-5 may choose to return to campus after Meet the Teacher to attend a come-and-go Q&A orientation opportunity with their child's teacher. 1st Grade & 2nd Grade will be in their classrooms to answer questions between 4:30 and 5:00, and 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade will be available in their classrooms between 5:00 and 5:30.
Kindergarten teachers will be hosting a 45-minute Kinder Parent Orientation in the cafeteria from 5:30 to 6:15.
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 13. Our doors will be open at 7:15AM, and staff will be stationed throughout the campus to welcome our students and direct them towards their classroom.
