HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM ROGUE
I hope you all are staying healthy as we move into winter. Looking ahead to the holiday season, there are a few things parents can do to help your students have a successful month.
Helping your student maintain a healthy balance during the holiday season is important. December is an exciting month with the holidays, family celebrations and school events. Families play an important role in keeping students focused as we approach winter break. Students can easily become overwhelmed with all of the extra events and activities and need the routines at home and at school to help them be successful.
Regular attendance is crucial for student success. Research clearly shows that the students who are at school on time every day demonstrate significantly higher achievement.
Make sure to take some time during Winter Break to connect and enjoy your time at home. This is a great time for reading stories together or involving students in baking or other activities that can link with learning.
Thank you for all of your support and dedication-you are a big part of what makes Rogue a special place for our kiddos.

Driveline Procedure and Expectations
We are addressing an increase in speeding and unsafe driving during drop-off and pick-up times. Your cooperation is essential to ensure the safety of all students, staff, and families. Please read and strictly adhere to the following procedures:
Enter From 2nd Street and Follow the Designated Path:
All vehicles must enter the campus from 2nd Street and stay in the designated driveline path to the left. Vehicles entering from the right disrupt the line and create unnecessary frustration for others. Everyone must follow the established sequence to maintain fairness and order.Use the Curbside Lane for Drop-Off Only:
The curbside lane is the only designated drop-off area. Do not use the second lane for drop-offs, as this creates dangerous situations with students crossing in front of moving vehicles. Once you have safely dropped off or picked up your student, you may use the second lane to exit.Do Not Park in the Driveline:
If you need to leave your vehicle, park in the lot and escort your student safely to the building. Parking in the driveline disrupts the flow and creates unnecessary hazards.Speed Limit and Phone Usage:
The speed limit on campus is 10 mph. Exceeding this speed is unacceptable and endangers others. Additionally, ensure you are not using your phone while your vehicle is in motion—full attention is required at all times.Late Arrival Procedure:
If you arrive after 8:10 a.m., park your vehicle and accompany your student to the main office to check them in.
These procedures are non-negotiable and must be followed to maintain a safe and efficient environment for everyone.
We appreciate your cooperation and vigilance in ensuring the safety of our school community. Thank you for your immediate attention to these matters.
